Chinese New Year is the most important of all the holidays to the Chinese people. It is also known as the Spring Festival or 春节 (春節). In Mainland China, it is celebrated for 15 days. All government agencies and schools are closed for this holiday. The following slide show illustrates the most popular and traditional food that Chinese people eat during this festival.
