Mobile Museum: Four Successful Tours Following Sept. Debut

Second Tour at Brown University's Family Weekend - Oct. 25 & 26, 2024

Our mobile exhibits engaged over 500 visitors during Family Weekend, sparking meaningful conversations and fostering deeper understanding of AAPI history and culture. These interactions also leveraged campus opportunities to recruit graduate student volunteers, support thesis research, and expand the volunteer network, creating mutual benefits for participants and the museum.

Third Tour at West Warwick Library - Nov. 4 - Nov.8, 2024

The exhibit was thoughtfully displayed in the library’s basement as a self-guided tour. While exact visitor numbers were not recorded, it offered an intimate and enriching educational experience, inspiring reflection and fostering a deeper appreciation for the history and culture it presented.

Fourth Tour at Park View Middle School - Dec. 18 & 19, 2024

Over two days, 748 students explored the mobile exhibits, engaging in an AAPI Scavenger Hunt that deepened their understanding of AAPI history and culture. The exhibits fostered personal connections, sparking genuine interest and a strong sense of investment in the stories shared.
