Cathie Ho Nadeau’s two favorite comfort foods in her native Cantonese cuisine are pan-fried egg noodles (chow-mein) with chicken and Chinese greens and stir-fried rice with chicken and pineapple. She was born and raised in Hong Kong. An impromptu opportunity kept her working at the United Nations in New York City for 17 years. She has resided in Rhode Island since she retired and her love of travel has enhanced her appreciation of cuisine from around the world.
