Celebrate AAPI Heritage Month at the First-Ever AAPI History Museum

Join us for a vibrant outdoor gathering as we kick off AAPI Heritage Month with exhibits from the AAPI Mobile History Museum, featuring the journeys of Chinese American, Vietnamese American, Korean American, and Cambodian American communities, and many more AAPI history in the brick-and-mortar museum indoors.

As a history museum, we invite you to explore stories from across the AAPI experience. This celebration honors the resilience and cultural richness of Vietnamese, Cambodian, Lao, and Hmong communities, marketing 50 years since the Fall of Saigon.
Through cultural tables and hands-on activities, you’ll experience the vibrancy of our living communities—including Southeast Asian traditions and the artistry of other AAPI groups, from Chinese calligraphy and origami to the powerful role of food in the cultural connection.

The event will include:

  • Outdoor craft tables, such as lantern making and origami
  • Skill games such as chopsticks competition (picking up objects with speed)
  • Shufflecock kicks or “jianzi”(毽子), a traditional Chinese activity or sport
  • Asian food demonstration & art displays
  • Angka Boba tea truck & Asian food truck
