Yoga Classes

Our yoga classes are being offered as a course by theme. Each month we address a special issue of your health. Our Small Group Yoga is an on-going class that has sequence catered particularly to the individuals in the group. Private yoga session is available. Email us if you don’t know which course to take or want us to design a private yoga session for you.

All classes require you to sign a waiver of liability form


Small Group Yoga

This is a small group yoga class that the instructor caters to the individuals in the group. Students should use two devices. One of them is used to view the yoga teacher for instruction and the poses. The other device (with the camera on) is used to let the yoga instructor look at your posture while you are following along. The Yoga instructor will offer coaching tips at the end of class.

Equipment: This class is on zoom so you will need a computer or a laptop that has a camera and a microphone. We will have some outdoor in-person classes as weather permitting and practice social distancing and CDC guidelines.

Pre-requisite:   No prior yoga experience required but students have to not mind having a camera pointing at them during class.  This class is on Zoom for those days that we cannot be outside. Students have to bring their own props (if they need them). 

Duration:   Starts on Sept. 1, 2020 and on-going

Time & Date:  Tues. & Thurs.  9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.


Yoga for Healthy Aging

This course is for people who are 40+ .   As we approach the middle ages, we have to look at our bodies and mind in a different way.  Instead of doing the hard and fast exercises in the gym, we have to think more about body and mind connection.  Our brain is the command center that directs our action.  This class extracts the essentials from yoga to give to middle-aged individuals all they need to know about their bodies and mind.  As we age, we take on different shape and form for our physical, mental and emotional beings.  Learn how to harness the best in you with yoga as we age and defy nature!

Equipment: This class is on zoom so you will need a computer or a laptop that has a camera and a microphone.  

Pre-requisite:   No prior yoga experience required but a willingness to explore and discover.  Students have to bring their own props (if they need them).

Duration:   Starts at Nov. 1 till Nov. 30th , 2020

Yoga for Back Pain

This course is for people who have back pain and help them understand why they have back pain.  Pain is different to each of the following specialists: doctor, physical therapist, personal trainer, yoga instructor and yoga therapist.  In this course, we will address what pain really is and what yoga can do for people who experience pain, especially when the pain is in their back.

Pre-requisite:   No prior yoga experience required but a willingness to explore and discover.  Students have to bring their own props (if they need them).

Duration:   Starts at Dec. 1 till Dec. 30th , 2020

Yoga for Stress Relief

This course helps you to discover the quiet culprit of many life problems – stress.   Stress is insidious in many people’s lives.  Some people don’t even realize that they are living a stressful life, let alone doing something about it.  If the title of this yoga course caught your eyes, congratulate yourself that you have some notion of what you need to work on.  Come join us in this course to learn how you can use yoga to keep stress out of your life- physically, emotionally and physiologically.

Yoga for Better Sleep

If Melatonin is the chemical produced in our brain that signals our body it’s time to sleep, wouldn’t it make sense that we can reliably depend on the production of this chemical in our brain to help us sleep every night?   But some people cannot produce melatonin on their own or just have a hard time falling asleep at night despite having no problem of producing melatonin in their brain.  What is the culprit?  We will discover and learn different yoga poses to help you achieve a great night of sleep every night – consistently.

Yoga for Core Integrity

Many people don’t realize that having a strong core is more than getting the look of a six-pack or the wash-board abs. Our core consists not just the abdominals (six-pack), it is more than what you see with the eyes and more parts than just the abdominals.   In this course, we will teach you the sure and stable way of achieving core integrity.   We look at maintaining your core holistically including your connection to your body and mind and how your diets contribute to the maintenance of this integrity.   Come to strengthen and explore in this course.

Yoga for Vibrant Adults

The life expectancy of today’s adults is 78.6 years compared to 58.6 years in the 1920’s.   The discovery of medicine is one factor that extends the life of adults by 20+ year.  But with  COVID-19, it has changed everything!  People with underlying conditions, such as diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease or lung problems are the first ones to be affected by the pandemic.    In this course, not only you will learn how to stay away from these illnesses, you will learn of a way to keep and maintain your health so the pandemic virus will not find your body a viable place to stay.
